The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued its latest 24-hour public weather forecast, warning of possible scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across the country. The forecast, released at 10 AM on April 13, 2026, remains valid until 4:00 AM tomorrow.

A ridge of high pressure is currently extending over Northern Luzon, influencing the weather patterns in that region. Meanwhile, PAGASA is closely monitoring Super Typhoon Sinlaku (2604), which is currently located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The typhoon is packing maximum sustained winds of 205 km/h near the center, with gustiness reaching up to 250 km/h. It is moving west northwestward at a speed of 16 km/h. PAGASA continues to monitor the typhoon's movement and intensity and will provide updates as necessary.
