Kuryente News is committed to accurate, fair, independent, and responsible journalism in the public interest. This Editorial Policy governs how we gather, verify, produce, and publish news across all Kuryente News platforms.
Kuryente News operates under the registered Philippine media entity Kuryente News Multimedia Service (DTI Business Name No. 7940702) and follows recognized journalistic standards of verification, accountability, and transparency.

Kuryente News prioritizes transparent sourcing.

- Government agency bulletins (e.g., PAGASA, PHIVOLCS, NDRRMC) are cited with attribution
- Anonymous sources are used only when information is of clear public interest and cannot be obtained otherwise
- Anonymous sourcing requires editorial approval
We do not publish anonymous accusations without supporting verification.
5. Conflicts of Interest
Kuryente News journalists and contributors must avoid conflicts that compromise objectivity.
They must disclose:

- Financial interests related to coverage
- Political or organizational affiliations relevant to reporting

- Fabricated or synthetic media presented as real is prohibited
