Intensity II was recorded in Kiamba and Malungon, both in Sarangani province.
Intensity I was recorded in Maitum and Malapatan in Sarangani; T'Boli in South Cotabato; the City of General Santos; Santa Maria in Davao Occidental; and the City of Digos in Davao del Sur.
Under the PHIVOLCS Earthquake Intensity Scale, Intensity II indicates a tremor felt by a few people, particularly those at rest, with no significant physical effects. Intensity I means the event was detected only by seismic instruments and was not perceptible to people.
