The Philippines will experience varying weather conditions across its regions, according to the latest forecast from PAGASA issued at 4:00 AM on May 2, 2028, valid until 4:00 AM tomorrow. Easterlies are the dominant weather system affecting the country, bringing rain to certain areas while others remain partly cloudy.

Luzon

Northern Luzon will experience moderate winds from the East. Coastal waters are expected to be slight to moderate. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Visayas

Mindanao

Caraga Region will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of Easterlies. The public is warned about the possibility of flash floods and landslides. The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

Across the Philippines, wind conditions will generally be light to moderate. In Northern Luzon, winds will be coming from the East. Coastal waters in Northern Luzon are expected to be slight to moderate. The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Yesterday, PAGASA's Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City station recorded the following extreme temperatures and humidity levels:

  • Maximum Temperature: 34.9°C at 2:00 PM
  • Minimum Temperature: 24.9°C at 2:00 AM
  • Maximum Humidity: 86% at 8:00 AM
  • Minimum Humidity: 43% at 12:00 PM
