BAGUIO CITY — Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Superintendent Lieutenant General Michael G. Logico paid courtesy visits on October 19, 2026, to two leaders of the PMA Board of Visitors (PMABOV), the academy said in a press release.

Logico called on Dr. Theresita Atienza, President of Quezon City University and Chairperson of the PMABOV, and on Mr. Hans Sy, Chairperson of the Executive Committee of SM Prime Holdings Inc. and Chairperson of the PMABOV Resource Committee. The visits aimed to strengthen institutional cooperation and sustain support for the academy's development priorities, according to the PMA Public Affairs Office.

The discussions centered on the continuity of PMA's institutional priorities, particularly academic education, military training, character formation and infrastructure development.

The talks also explored applying "Game Theory" to develop cadets' strategic thinking, analytical skills and decision-making capabilities, which the academy described as increasingly important in the evolving security landscape.

Logico expressed his appreciation for the Board's continued support and stressed the importance of sustained collaboration in carrying out the academy's ongoing programs and long-term development initiatives. The PMA said these efforts aim to improve its training capabilities, learning environment and institutional readiness to meet the changing requirements of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Through continued cooperation with the PMABOV, the academy said it seeks to strengthen its institutional programs and prepare competent, principled and operationally ready "Leaders of Character" for a lifetime of service to the nation.
