PAGASA advises that these isolated thunderstorms could lead to flash floods or landslides, especially in areas prone to these hazards. The agency urges the public to stay informed and take necessary precautions during severe thunderstorms.

Luzon Weather Forecast

Northern Luzon is currently experiencing the influence of a ridge of high pressure. Despite this, residents across Luzon, including Metro Manila, should anticipate partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are possible throughout the day, particularly during the afternoon and evening.

Visayas Weather Forecast

Similar weather conditions are expected in the Visayas. PAGASA forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.   • Rest of the Country: Light to moderate winds are expected from the northeast to north. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 1.8 meters.

Yesterday, at the PAGASA Weather Station in Science Garden, Diliman Quezon City, the maximum temperature reached 33.2°C at 4:00 PM, while the minimum temperature was 24.8°C at 5:00 AM. The maximum relative humidity was 80% at 5:00 AM, and the minimum was 47% at 4:00 PM.

Typhoon Sinlaku Update

As of 3:00 AM today, Typhoon Sinlaku (2604) is located 2,550 kilometers east of Central Luzon (15.3°N, 145.4°E). The typhoon has maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 215 km/h. It is moving northwestward at 10 km/h. PAGASA clarifies that this typhoon is currently outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
