The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 1 of 2 examinees passed the Ocular Pharmacologists Special Certification Computer-Based Licensure Examination given by the Board of Optometry in NCR in September 2026.
The Board of Optometry is composed of Dr. Maria Lalaine C. Dumangas, Chairperson; Dr. Fides F. Masanga, Dr. Irene Christine C. Peliño, Dr. Myra A. Obcena and Dr. Christine Samson-Rodriguez, members.
PRC released the results on 15 October 2026, 13 working days after the examination.

Registration and oath-taking
Registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done online starting November 23, 2026. PRC advises successful examinees to visit its website and follow the instructions for registration, and to bring a screenshot of the system-generated registration form and a valid government-issued ID. Successful examinees must personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
