MANILA, Philippines — The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to bring significant rainfall across Luzon and Visayas this Monday, September 7, 2026, according to the latest 24-hour public weather forecast from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Residents in Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro should brace for occasional to heavy rains, carrying a high risk of flash floods and landslides. Monsoon rains are also expected over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Aurora, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, the Bicol Region, Palawan, and the rest of MIMAROPA, where similar hazards are possible.
The rest of Luzon and all of Visayas will experience isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, with vigilance advised against sudden flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorm activity. Mindanao, meanwhile, can expect isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, primarily driven by localized thunderstorm development, also posing a risk of flash floods and landslides.
